The best one I've ever used!

This is my go to Rolling Pin! The best one I've ever used. It's so quick and easy to use. I use it to make my Christmas cookies, Shortbread and filled cookies. One roll and I've made over 60 cookies or appetizers! How fast is that! Works great with different types of dough, like puff pastry, pie crust and crescent roll dough for appetizers. Super easy to use making homemade Ravioli, I really like the recipes that came with it. I'm getting more to give these as Christmas gifts for my nieces who are busy Moms and have to deal with food allergies and gluten-free in their family. TIPS FOR STARTERS: • Work with 1/4 of dough to start. It is much better to roll out your parts of dough separately, filling and cutting your ravioli as you go. • Keep balance of dough covered with plastic wrap. Don't allow it to dry out. • Puree your filling to a smooth consistency to spread easier. • Be sure to remove any air-pockets before sealing edges. • Generously flour board and top of filled dough, this will make cutting easier for the roller. • Remember to PRESS FIRMLY! Use slow and steady, even pressure. Puree your fillings and try not to overfill the dough. I use the sleeve on the roller to even out the filling and help move the air pockets before sealing the 3 sides. Be sure you Flour the surface and the top of the dough to help seal and use the palms of your hands with a slow and steady pressure. Also, I've found that if the dough is too thin it will be more difficult to seal, the thickness of a chamois works best for me. If I've over filled the dough in some spots it doesn't close.. just squeeze out some of the filling and pinch the edge. Work with 1/4 of the dough at a time and allow it to rest after rolling it, otherwise it will start to shrink. Hope this helps you. (25 Mar 2018, 06:52)

Very useful for making Christmas cookies. When making ravioli, you need to be sure not to overfill as they wont seal properly if you overfill. Great product, but does take a little practice for ravioli. When making cookies with it, it is very easy and they look great. They are small cookies, but that is probably best for waistline when making shortbread (I used to make "roof tiles" for a gingerbread house, too)

Functionally perfect and cheaper than that fancy one by such a degree that nobody can really justify the fancy one. This one is plastic but it's a solid device that allows someone who generally doesn't cook to make cool pasta out of fresh home grown veggies.

Exactly like the one my grandmother uses which she bought in the 60s. Included recipes are a great help and the unit feels very sturdy. Awesome!
